Woodworking band saws are often used for large-scale wood cutting. It is a very common woodworking machine and suitable for wood cutting. 1. When sawing wood, the saw blade moves back and forth with a cracking sound. In this case, the saw blade has large cracks, and it should be shut down immediately for inspection. The main reasons for saw blade breakage are as follows:
Machine reason:
The band saw machine generates vibration, which causes the bearing to wear out. The band saw machine should be reinforced and the bearing should be replaced to ensure stable operation. The tensioning device of the saw blade is out of order, or the wheel surface of the saw wheel is not flat, it should be corrected. The upper and lower saw wheels are twisted, which means that the upper and lower saw wheels are not on the same vertical line. The position of the upper and lower saw wheels should be adjusted manually.
Reason for saw blade: The saw blade has low toughness. It is recommended to replace the saw blade with good toughness. The saw blade is thick and the saw wheel is small. When choosing a saw blade, you must choose a suitable saw blade according to the size of the saw wheel. When installing the saw blade, the tension must be appropriate. If the saw blade is used for too long and the saw teeth are not sharp, the saw teeth should be sharpened; the saw blade has a small crack, and a small hole can be drilled at the root of the crack to avoid crack expansion.
Operation reason: the feeding speed should be appropriate, not too strong, if the feeding is too fast or if there are knots in the wood, it is easy to damage the saw blade.
2. The saw blade moves back and forth or suddenly enters and exits, which is what we often call the blade. The main reasons are as follows: the upper saw wheel is inclined, or the outer diameter of the saw wheel is too large. When the wood is cracked, the saw blade should be jammed and pulled off when returning the material. Pay attention to the condition of the wood during operation. If the clamp saw heats up and the tension fails, the sawdust and other sundries on the saw wheel and saw blade should be removed frequently and lubricated.
